Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

Objectve:

"Colour in Future's Dream" Parent-Child Colouring Contest encourages children to express their future aspirations through colouring, while parents can educate their children on how to achieve a positive life and sustainable development. Let's paint a world full of hope, peace and harmony, and sustainable development.

 

Theme︰

The four pillars of the "YMCA Vision 2030"include: "Community Wellbeing" ,"Meaningful Work", "Sustainable Planet" and "Just World".

 

Format:

Participants can join the colouring contest for free, download the colouring sheet online, fill out the participation form, and submit your work.

Note 1: When registering, you need to provide a valid family or youth membership number  (Join as a member here)

 

Contest︰

Participants can use the coloring sheets provided by the association as a base and fill them with colors using art paints while drawing the theme of the contest.

 

How to participate
Download the colouring sheet，print it on white A4 size （297×210 mm） paper（Click Here）
Complete and scan the work （The files submitted must be in JPEG or JPG or PNG format, the file size must be within 5MB, and the image must be clear）
Complete the online form（Click here）
Submission deadline: 13 Dec 2024

 

Evaluation Criteria:︰

i. Theme Expression (40%): The four pillars of the "YMCA Vision 2030".

ii. Creative Expression (30%): Innovative ideas.

iii. Overall Aesthetic (30%): Use of composition and colour.

 

Prize︰

There will be three prizes for champion, first runner-up and second runner-up, and 5 merit awards for each of the two groups as follows:

• Champion will receive a book coupon worth HK$1,000 and a certificate of merit.
• The first runner-up will receive a book coupon worth HK$800 and a certificate of merit.
• The second runner-up will receive a book coupon worth HK$500 and a certificate of merit.
• Five merit award winners will receive a book coupon worth HK$200 and a certificate of merit.

Results Announcement︰

The results and winners will be announced in early January 2025 on the website of Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, and the winners will be notified by mail to collect their prizes.
