Community Wellbeing

“YM Buzzer” Sports Programme

YMCA has always been committed to promoting participation in sports, aiming to achieve holistic community health through increased physical activity. This Year, the Charity Sports Programme, fully supported and driven by the Tencent Charity Foundation and Gaw Capital’s People’s Place, has sponsored YMCA to launch the year-long “YM Buzzer” Sports Programme. This programme organised a series of sports training activities including basketball, volleyball, street workout, fitness training, dodgeball, mountaineering, K-pop dancing, yoga and mat Pilates. These initiatives provided youth, children, young night drifters, and women from underprivileged backgrounds with enhanced opportunities to learn and participate in sports, fostering both physical and mental wellbeing while strengthening social connections and helping participants discover their talents and interests.
