The two-year “Chillax Y2K” Youth Mental Wellness Project provides physical, mental, and spiritual health support for children and youth aged 6 to 24 and their parents through relaxing and engaging non-academic activities. Since 2016, University & College YMCA Department has led over 150 youth volunteers to developing countries (including the Philippines, Cambodia, Mongolia, Thailand, and Laos) to build 8 therapeutic playgrounds, serving over 12,000 individuals. Locally we have launched the “Handmade Playground” initiative, creating novel and mobile play facilities using eco-friendly materials, demonstrating our commitment to promoting children’s right to play.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Since 2023, we have been promoting “Social Prescribing,” integrating medical and community resources to tailor non-pharmacological treatment plans for emotionally distressed youth. 30 youths have been trained as “Link Worker Ambassadors” to identify peers with mental health needs early on and provide support. We are also collaborating with social welfare organisations in the Greater Bay Area to explore the application of “Social Prescribing” in regional social service development.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Home of Love-Yung Shing Lion Dance Team was established in 2003 and consists of 23 individuals with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. We operate two integrated health centres located in Yau Ma Tei and Tsim Sha Tsui. The Kei Yau Integrated Medical Centre in Yau Ma Tei operates on a collaborative model of Chinese and Western medicine. Launched by Christian Work Department, the “Certificate in Personal Growth for the Deaf” is Hong Kong’s first theological course taught entirely in sign language, designed specifically for deaf believers. The curriculum covers Bible study, spiritual formation, personal growth, and ministry training. It also features peer support groups that allow students to share, encourage one another, and live out their faith.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We currently operates five social enterprises: YM Fleur, YM Balloon, YM HAIR, YM Deli, and YM Cafe@CVA Commons. These enterprises provide vocational training and job opportunities for women, the hearing-impaired, and outreach youth. Po Shek Wu Neighbourhood Elderly Centre actively integrates technology into its daily services. In 2025, it pioneered the introduction of the GYM Monster 2.0 smart gym room, combining on-screen instructional videos with on-site guidance from instructors to allow the elderly to exercise safely and accurately. The system features AI monitoring that automatically adjusts the weight according to the user’s strength and records personal exercise data. Paired with smartwatches and online booking, it creates a semi-automated intelligent fitness system for the elderly in the North District.\n<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
