Established in 1901, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong is a major International Non-Government Charitable Organization in Hong Kong providing a spectrum of services for the betterment of the Hong Kong people in particular the poor and needy with a special focus to assist and empower the youth in Hong Kong to develop a holistic character with a passion to serve and contribute to the community in the spirit of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible: “To serve, not to be served”. The Association is now looking for high caliber candidates to fill the following position:

Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of the college’s accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger, and prepare financial statements;
- Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis to support decision-making;
- Monitor cash flow and ensure smooth financial operations and adequate liquidity;
- Administer tuition fee billing, collection, and maintain accurate student fee records;
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and assist in audit processes;
- Process payments, staff claims, and support procurement activities in accordance with established procedures;
- Maintain internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices;
- Manage funding, grants, and project accounts, ensuring compliance with funding requirements;
- Support system enhancement and process improvement initiatives for finance operations; and
- Provide financial support to management and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (experience in education or NGO sector is an advantage);
- Good knowledge of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and relevant statutory requirements;
- Proficient in financial management and accounting systems and MS Excel;
- Part-qualified or member of recognised professional accounting bodies is an advantage;
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- Responsible, independent, and a good team player with strong communication skills.
